Xenical.

Xenical (orlistat) is an efficient drug prescribed for people that are obese and may also have other health problems – such as heart disease or high blood pressure. You will need to follow a certain diet program your health care provider will give you. Your daily amount of fat, carbohydrates and protein will need to be divided over the three main meals you have. Your dose of Xenical may be skipped if you did not get any fat with your meal (or snack). Xenical is usually very well tolerated and only a few mild side effects are possible. However, tell your health care provider if you get any of the following serious side effects that can mean your treatment is not going as planned: difficulty breathing or swallowing, itching, continuous abdominal pain, rash, and hives. Mild side effects that are more likely include irregular menstrual periods, anxiety, increased number of bowel movements, loose stools, oily or fatty stools, stomach pain, urgent need to have a bowel movement, gas with oily spotting, headache, and oily spotting. Do not take Xenical more often than needed or in larger doses, as this is not going to help you make the treatment more efficient and can cause more side effects.
